Go you genius

I read this comment on youtube for a Japanese clip:
"1000 yen is around 10 dollars. A rough estimate. it changes all the time, unlike US dollars"

You absolute genius. Wow. I could never have guessed that. Your powers of observation are formidable. I bow to your aura of intelligence. Your IQ must be astronomical, up there with the likes of Alpha Centauri and YOU ABSOLUTE IDIOT, er, Minor.

It's SO obvious that it is merely every other currency that changes value. The US dollar never in fact changes because when the economic state of the US changes the world ENDS. Okay, I'll concede that most exchange rates are based on a currency's value compared to the USD and so it may be perceived, albeit by quite the cretin, that the USD never in fact changes in value. Still...the arrogance of many Americans never ceases to amaze me.

Sigh. I had other things to say, but I didn't want to get too carried away. People who actually know about economics feel free to correct me. Otherwise I'll be sitting here feeling smug that I know more than this guy.
